About Charlotte

Charlotte Turner (AIEMA) is an experienced sustainability consultant, educator, commentator, advisor and mentor who specialises in the creative and strategic development, production, distribution, retail, use, reimagining and communication of fashion and textiles products and services.

Across her career Charlotte has worked in consultancy, academia, education, non-profit and in-house roles for a range of organisations and brands including:

Charlotte has over a decade of experience in sustainability consultancy. She has supported numerous start-up and large-scale global apparel, accessories and textile brands, retailers, manufacturers and students to:

Set up, run and scale responsibly governed businesses guided by long-term holistic sustainability strategies.
Understand, manage and improve social and environmental performance through undertaking sustainability assessments and building action plans to work towards meaningful targets.
Create and introduce innovative tools, systems, materials, and processes into new and established supply chains.
Develop, create and sell high quality products and services in the most socially, culturally, economically and environmentally positive ways possible.
Improve consumer trust through transparent and authentic communication strategies and enhanced public disclosure.
Gain the knowledge and tools needed to prioritise and achieve sustainability goals across teams and functions through interactive training sessions and sustainability tool kits.

Training | Education

Charlotte is involved in training and education of both professionals and students in a variety of settings, including:

Planning and delivering in-person and online training workshops and materials to leadership, design, sourcing, buying, retail, marketing and logistics teams within fashion, accessories and textiles brands, retailers and manufacturers.
Facilitating and presenting at international workshops for both schools and businesses.
Developing, writing and editing curriculum and content for online and offline sustainability courses.
Teaching and advising on Fashion Business, Management, Marketing and Design Foundation, BA, and Masters level degree programmes in the UK and Europe.
